About us
The Clark County Fire Department (CCFD) in Kentucky was established in 1953. Initially formed to protect the county's rural areas, it has grown significantly over the years. Today, the CCFD operates from three stations and employs 9 personnel per shift across 3 shifts, providing fire suppression, technical level special operations, and fire prevention education.

Protecting lives and property

At Clark County Fire Dept., our core values guide us in our service to Winchester: to protect lives and property and to make our community as safe as we can. We are waiting and ready anytime when that call comes out when someone is possibly having the worst day of their life.
